Use meditative chanting to find that still, quiet place within

Once a month, I lead a small group in sacred chanting.  I use very simple chants drawn from many different faith traditions, as well as Taize chants.  I do not provide written words to follow.  I try to use easy chants to learn and fairly simple tunes.

The aim is not to teach you to chant but to provide the ambience, words and tunes to use chanting to drop into a more meditative state.  It is by the continual repeating of simple words that one can move out of the rational mind into the heart, to connect with the Divine.

There is no singing ability required - I AM NOT A SINGER!!!  But I can carry a tune (well, most of the time I can - if not, I rely on my CD player to help get us started!).

You are more than welcome to join us on the 1st Tuesday of the month at Rosslyn Hill Unitarian Chapel http://www.rosslynhillchapel.com/ (in the main chapel area), Rosslyn Hill, Hampstead, London NW3 1NG (nearest tube = Hampstead) - from 7:30 to 9:00.  These groups are free and there is no booking required.
